The second edition was a sold-out triumph.
What set this event apart wasn’t just the setting. Women made up 57% of the field—a rare and inspiring statistic in the world of ultra-endurance sport. Participants ranged from 14 to 74 years old (average age 50), with 110 first-timers joining 63 returning UltraSwimmers to tackle the crystal-clear waters.
The course delivered everything: breathtaking scenery above and below the surface, warm 25°C waters, gorgeous blue skies - and at times, challenging winds and chop.

BUT SO MUCH More Than a Race
For most, the ultimate achievement was to finish and earn the coveted UltraSwim 33.3 Finisher Droplet. For others at the front, it was a tight and tactical race across long distances. Whatever the pace (from 2-5kmh!), camaraderie, encouragement, and shared challenge made this edition unforgettable.
The 33.3km distance honours the legacy of Captain Matthew Webb, who in 1875 became the first to swim the English Channel. His motto—“Nothing great is easy”—was felt in every stroke. And the unbelievable detail of the event - Captain Webb's great great grand-daughter swam, awesome Jess!
