You’ll experience the event alongside the founders and core team, with more time to connect, share stories and be part of the journey.
While smaller events may come with fewer options, they offer invaluable depth, access and community. Safety standards remain uncompromising, the ULTRA+ experience retains its essence, and yes—post-swim massages are included for everyone!

OUR HOST VENUE
Nevis is the smaller of the two islands comprising the nation of Saint Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean. It's known for sandy beaches, including palm-fringed Pinney's Beach and sheltered Oualie Beach. The history of Nevis island is as rich and captivating as its landscapes. The island's capital, Charlestown, is filled with Georgian-style buildings and other British colonial relics. Horatio Lord Nelson, the English Naval hero, lived and was married here in the 1780s. Alexander Hamilton, one of the Founding Fathers of the USA was born here. Many things have not changed since - and this edition will be an ‘Escape’ an un-rushed, and unspoilt Caribbean paradise with fabulous swimming, and the ever-present view of ‘The Peak’ above.
WHERE WILL WE SWIM?
The course takes us along golden sand beaches, lush rainforest landscapes, with the dominating Nevis volcano backdrop (known as ‘The Peak’ and with a double crossing of the St.Kitts-Nevis ‘Narrows’ planned in one or two swims. One day will certainly be swum along the St.Kitts western shores, and at least one straight out from the Four Seasons Hotel.
SWIMMING CONDITIONS
Nevis in December sits in the heart of the Caribbean winter season and for open water swimmers, that is very good news. The Caribbean Sea offers warm, clear water with temperatures typically sitting around 26–27°C. December brings slightly shorter days and the occasional tropical shower, but rainfall is generally brief and the sunshine quick to return.
Trade winds are a feature of Caribbean winter swimming and can create choppier surface conditions, particularly on the exposed Atlantic-facing side of the island. We have carefully designed the route to make the most of Nevis and St.Kitts more sheltered leeward coastline wherever possible, but expect some days to be more challenging than others - this is open water, and that is part of the adventure. The warm water and spectacular underwater visibility more than make up for whatever the Caribbean throws at us, and we have no doubt that every single one of you will earn those Finisher droplets
