Swimmers in warm open water at an UltraSwim 33.3 event in Greece

How far will you swim each day?

The swims per day charts below are indicative only. We aim to keep the structure as consistent as possible across our events, but the final schedule may vary depending on weather and conditions.

For triathletes

SWIMS PER DAY

THURSDAY - We offer an optional warm up swim so you can get used to the water. This does not count towards the total 33.3.

FRIDAY (DAY 1) - We usually try and do two swims on Day 1, allowing you to cover the distance but also getting a nice break betweem the two giving you a chance to rest, refuel and get to know your fellow swimmers.

SATURDAY (Day 2) - Day 2 is usually a longer continuous swim, progressively building you up for day 3.

SUNDAY (Day 3) - Marathon day! We aim to keep the marathon day on day 3 when you are at your strongest.

MONDAY (Day 4) - The final push, this is the shortest day where you will complete the final kilometres for your 33.3.

This structure is the same for the BUILD 33.3/2 HALF CHANNEL distance but with shorter swims each day, see the example plan below

This distance plan is a guideline only and will change betwen loactions and are subject to weather conditions. The waterbook webinar before you arrive at the event will go through the swim plan in detail and any changes to the course on site will be communicated via the BROADCAST whatsapp groups which are accessible to registered swimmers via the swimmers' bubble.
